2025 is our Year of GROWTH

Ephesians 4:15-16 New Living Translation

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Each day, we invite you to set aside a moment to lift up specific requests related to individual spiritual maturity and our church growth, knowing that God will hear and answer. It’s not just a list of requests; it is a collective call to seek God’s wisdom, guidance, and blessings for every aspect of our lives and our church.

June

Week One

1

1. Prioritise God

Pray that the Word of God will always take the top-most priority in our lives, in Generations Church, and in all the body of Christ, so that we become light to the lost.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 - KJV

2. Praying in Gratitude for amazing sacrificial Love.

Pray that we will be inspired to share the Gospel with our friends and neighbours, being witnesses of His amazing love!

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8”- ESV

3. Spiritual Growth.

Pray for spiritual growth in the church, especially in the knowledge of the spiritual blessings that are ours in Christ Jesus!

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 - NIV

4. Submit to the Holy Spirit.

Pray that as we grow, we will continue to submit to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, who has been sent to guide us in our daily walk with God.

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you”. John 14:26-NIV.

5. Steadfast Love.

Pray, praising and thanking God for His steadfast love that never stops! Thank Him too for His mercies that are renewed every morning!

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23 “- ESV

6. Do not Fear!

Pray, thanking God for His promise contained in Isaiah 41:10 wherein God promised to strengthen us and help us and to uphold us, His children, with His righteous right hand!

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 – NIV.
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23 “- ESV.

7. The Holy Spirit helps us with prayer!

Pray thanking God, for giving us His Holy Spirit who is an ever-present helper, ready to intercede on our behalf.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. Rom 8:26 - NIV.

Week Two

1

1. Let us put our trust in God, always!

Pray, thanking God for His faithfulness and for the fact He is dependable and that we can put our trust in Him. Pray also praising Him for being our refuge and strength in times of trouble!

Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge Psalm 62:8. - NIV.

2. Our righteousness is gift from God through Jesus!

Pray, thanking God the Father who made Jesus His Son, who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf so that we might attain right standing before Him! Pray also thanking Him for this precious gift of righteousness which is freely gifted to all who believe in Jesus Christ The Risen Lord!
God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21-NIV.

3. God’s Love is Constant and dependable!

Pray that daily we will be reminded of God’s constant Agape love towards us and that this will help us grow in our in Our faith and trust in Him.

Remind me each morning of your constant love, for I put my trust in you. My prayers go up to you; show me the way I should go. Psalm 143:8 - GNT.

4. Hope in the Lord!

Pray that we will learn to always put our trust in God for He will never fail those who put their trust Him and He promises to renew our strength if we put our trust in Him!

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." - Isaiah 40:31 -NIV

5. Thanksgiving.

Pray thanking the Lord for His love that endures forever. Pray also for a deeper revelation and understanding of God’s love that is ours in Jesus Christ our Lord!

“May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.” 2 Thess 3:5 - NLT

6. Total dependence on the Word of God.

Pray for the grace to totally stand on the word of God, no matter the circumstance. Father, as we demonstrate total hope in Your Word, may everything about us reflect that You are our shield. Amen!

“You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.” Psalms‬ 119‬:114‬ NKJV

7.Pray instead of worrying!

Pray that God will help us not to be anxious about anything but to be quick to turn to Him in prayer, always with a thankful spirit!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6 -ESV
