July Prayer & Fasting Theme: “Piercing Darkness, Walking in Power, Established in Holiness”
Each day, we invite you to set aside a moment to lift up specific requests related to individual spiritual maturity and our church growth, knowing that God will hear and answer. It’s not just a list of requests; it is a collective call to seek God’s wisdom, guidance, and blessings for every aspect of our lives and our church.
1 July - Lord, make my life a pleasing sacrifice to You.
Scripture: Romans 12:1 (NKJV)“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”
Devotional: God desires our whole lives as worship, not occasional acts of devotion.
Prayer: Lord, make my life a pleasing sacrifice to You.
Reflection: What area of my life is not surrendered?
2 July - Keep my focus fixed on Jesus.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:18“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Devotional: Spiritual change happens as we gaze on Christ. Through the Word, we can see every feature of God articulated in Christ. As we ponder on the Word, our spirits are transformed into the image of Christ.
Prayer: Keep my focus fixed on Jesus.
Reflection: What distracts me from Christ?
3 July - Tear down every stronghold opposing Your purpose.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10:4“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,”
Devotional: God’s power destroys spiritual strongholds and impossible barriers.
Prayer: Tear down every stronghold opposing Your purpose.
Reflection: What challenges do I need God’s power?
4 July - Help us preserve unity through peace.
Scripture: Ephesians 4:3Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
Devotional: Unity requires intentional effort and humility among believers.
Prayer: Help us preserve unity through peace.
Reflection: Am I promoting unity?
5 July - Open our eyes to divine insight.
Scripture: Proverbs 25:2“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”
Devotional: God reveals deep truths to those who diligently seek Him.
Prayer: Open our eyes to divine insight.
Reflection: How can I pursue God’s truth?
6 July -Teach me to know Your will
Scripture: Romans 12:2 NLT“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
Devotional: God’s will become clearer through transformed hearts and minds. Current trends of reasoning seek to influence our thinking. We need to proactively guard our minds by becoming acquainted with the Word of God. Using the Word to carry out a deliberate renovation of our minds – replacing old ways of thinking with delighting in God and His Word – resulting in a complete change of our character for the better. With a changed mindset, we able to test or examine a matter in the light of God’s Word, then we can recognize what God wishes to be done by us.
Reflection: How can I apply God’s Word in knowing God’s will?
Prayer: Teach me to know Your will.
7 July - Break every satanic influence over my life.
Scripture: 1 John 3:8 NKJV“…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”
Devotional: Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. We probably all agree to the preceding statement. The challenge is ‘recognising ’. How can we identify the works of the devil in our lives, families and society? Looking at Jesus’ life on earth is a good place to start. Through His incarnated life, Jesus demonstrated to us His purpose to heal and to release from bondage all who were oppressed.
Reflection: Where do I need Christ’s victory?
Prayer: Break every satanic influence over my life.
8 July - Let Your truth set me free.
Scripture: John 8:32“and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Devotional: Truth brings freedom from deception, bondage, and fear. Understanding what is true in any matter under consideration is key to knowing how to be set free.
Reflection: How can I know if I am walking in truth?
Prayer: Let Your truth set me free.

Scripture: Proverbs 18:21 AMPC“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life.”
Devotional: The Word of God continually shapes believers into Christ’s image. What I say influences who I become.

Prayer: Transform me daily into Christ’s likeness
14 July - God, direct every decision by Your wisdom.
