Our Community BBQ & Fun Day is a free, family-friendly celebration where church opens its doors wide to serve and enjoy time with the wider community. It’s a relaxed afternoon filled with food, fun, and connection, perfect for all ages.

On Sunday 30th August, we invite friends, families, neighbours, and the local community to join us for a combined Sunday service, followed by an afternoon of food, activities, and shared moments together.

We’ll begin the day by gathering as one church family for our Sunday service from 10:30am to 11:30pm, before heading into our Community BBQ & Fun Day. It’s a great opportunity to experience church together and then stay on to connect in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

From 1:00pm to 5:00pm, the Fun Day comes alive with something for everyone. There’ll be a free BBQ with vegetarian options available, alongside face painting, popcorn, candy floss, bouncy castles, ball games, and plenty more for children, young people, and families to enjoy.

This event is made possible by volunteers. Whether it’s helping with setup, food, activities, or hospitality, serving on the day is a great way to give back practically and be part of making the event special for our community.

Community BBQ & Fun Day is one of the easiest events to invite others to. Bring friends, family, neighbours, or colleagues, especially those who may not usually attend church. Everyone is welcome.
