Ephesians 4:15-16 New Living Translation

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Each day, we invite you to set aside a moment to lift up specific requests related to individual spiritual maturity and our church growth, knowing that God will hear and answer. It’s not just a list of requests; it is a collective call to seek God’s wisdom, guidance, and blessings for every aspect of our lives and our church.

Week One – Walking in Divine Authority, Guidance, and Victory

Dec 01. Greatness of God

Scripture: Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Psalm 145:3 (NKJV) Prayer Point: Let us praise God and declare His unsearchable greatness in our lives, and since the beginning of Generations Church and forever.

Dec 02. Crowned With God’s Goodness

Scripture: Psalm 65:11 (NkJV) You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.
Prayer Point: Pray that the Lord will crown our year with His goodness. Let divine favour and provision overflow in every area of our lives in Generation Church.

Dec 03. Authority Over the Enemy

Scripture: Luke 10:19 (NIV) I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
Prayer Point: Lord, thank You for the authority You have given us in Christ. We declare victory over every power of the enemy against our lives and every member in Jesus’ name

Dec 04. Power in the Name of Jesus

Scripture: Mark 16:17-18 (NIV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Prayer Point: Dear Lord, let Your power be evident in our lives. Use us as a channel of healing, deliverance, and supernatural signs in our homes and community in Jesus’ name.

Dec 05. Walking in God’s Light

Scripture: Psalm 89:15 (NKJV) Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.
Prayer Point: Father, help us to walk daily in the light of Your presence, so that we may experience the blessings that come from intimacy with You.

Dec 06. God’s Power to Make a Way

Scripture: Joshua 4:23 (NIV) For the Lord your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. Prayer Point: Pray that the Lord, who is the Waymaker, will arise in our lives and remove every obstacle on our way and take us into the promises He has prepared for us.

Dec 07. Pray for the Zion Gathering

Scripture: Hebrews 10:24 (NIV) And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Prayer Point: Pray that God will use the Zion Gathering to uplift, inspire, and encourage our young adults to dwell in His presence continually.

Week Two–  Strength in God Through Prayer

Dec 08: Waiting on God

Scripture: Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14 (NKJV) Prayer: Pray that every member of Generations Church receives courage to wait on God and renewal of strength until His promises are fully fulfilled in our lives

Dec 09: Trust in the Lord

Scripture: Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defence; he has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2 (NIV) Prayer: Lord, I declare that You are my salvation and strength. Remove every fear from my heart and let my confidence be anchored in You in all situations and seasons.

Dec 10: Strength in Weakness.

Scripture: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV). Prayer: Thank You Lord, for Your sufficient grace. In moments of weakness, reveal Your strength through us. Help us rely on Your power rather than our own abilities.

Dec 11: Call on the Lord.

Scripture: The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18(NIV). Prayer: Pray that God draws us close as we call on Him sincerely, allowing us to experience His nearness, guidance, and comfort in every situation.

Dec 12: Remaining in God’s love.

Scripture: As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. John 15:9 (NIV) Prayer: Thank You Lord, for Your unfailing love over everyone at Generations Church. Help us remain rooted, grounded, and steady in Your love every day.

Dec 13: Prayer for the Evangelism team.

Scripture: My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. John 17:15 (NIV). Prayer: Pray that God will shield our evangelism team from every scheme of the enemy and empower them to win souls for Christ as they go out today.

Dec 14: Devotion to Prayer and Open Doors

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ. Colossians 4:2-3a (NIV) Pray that Generations Church remains devoted to prayer and ask God to open doors to share the message of Christ in schools across Milton Keynes.
