Secure Your Place at Newday
If you’re wondering whether Newday is worth it, the answer from our young people is clear: yes, every time. The stories of growth, transformation, and lasting impact don’t happen by accident; they happen because families choose to commit early.
A life-changing Christian festival that shapes faith, friendships, and purpose.
Newday brings thousands of young people together for a week of powerful worship, Bible teaching, and authentic community. Through Big Top sessions, small groups, and shared camp life, young people encounter God in a personal way, build lasting friendships, and grow in confidence in their faith. It’s more than a summer trip, it’s an environment where faith becomes real and lives are transformed.
NEWDAY
2026
Newday creates space for young people to encounter God, grow in faith, and find their people.
Newday is more than a festival; it’s a week intentionally designed to help young people step away from everyday distractions and lean into what really matters. Through powerful worship, Bible teaching that speaks directly to this generation, and small groups led by trusted leaders, young people are given space to ask questions, deepen their faith, and experience God personally.
Beyond the sessions, life at Newday is built around shared moments; living together, eating together, laughing together, and supporting one another through the highs and challenges of the week. These experiences build confidence, character, and friendships that don’t end when the tents come down. Many young people return home with renewed purpose, stronger faith, and a clearer sense of who they are and who God is calling them to be.
“Newday was honestly one of the best weeks of my life. The freedom, the people, the worship; everything just hit differently. You’re tired by the end, but in the best way. I’d go back every year if I could.”
So what actually happens at Newday?
Newday isn’t just about turning up to sessions; it’s about living a whole week differently.
Your days start early, but not in a boring way. There’s time to wake up, get ready, laugh with your tent group, and head into the Big Top for worship that actually feels alive. The music hits, the atmosphere is real, and suddenly you’re surrounded by thousands of young people all going after the same thing.
After sessions, the day opens up. There are workshops, small groups, and loads of free time to explore, chill, play sports, or just sit and talk. You’re not stuck in one place; you’ve got space to move, breathe, and enjoy yourself. Town trips, late-night chats, inside jokes, and memories that only make sense if you were there.
Food becomes part of the experience too. Everyone gets involved, cooking, washing up, sorting things together. It’s not luxury, but it’s real. You learn responsibility without it feeling forced, and somehow the food always tastes better when you’ve earned it and you’re eating with your people.
There’s structure, but there’s also freedom. Curfews exist, but so does trust. You’re treated like someone who can handle responsibility, not like a kid being controlled. That balance is what makes the week work; you feel safe, supported, and still free to enjoy yourself.
By the end of the week, you’re tired, your voice is probably gone, and you don’t really want to leave. Not because it was perfect — but because it was real. Real faith, real friendships, real moments with God that stay with you long after the tents come down.

Frequently asked questions
Who is Newday for?
Newday is for young people aged 11–18 (school years 7–13). Our Generations Church group is organised by age and gender, with dedicated leaders assigned to each group to ensure care, support, and safeguarding throughout the week.
Why should my child go with Generations Church?
Attending with Generations Church means your child is part of a familiar, trusted community, led by leaders who know them, support them, and continue to walk with them long after Newday ends. The experience doesn’t stop at camp; it carries on back home.
Can my child still attend if cost is a concern?
Yes. We offer payment plans, deposits, and where possible, sponsorship support to help make Newday accessible. Please contact the Generations Church team if you’d like to discuss options.
What’s included in the ticket price?
The ticket covers entry to Newday, transport, accommodation, meals, programme costs, and on-site support from our Generations Church leadership team. There are no hidden extras.
How much freedom do young people have?
Young people are given freedom within clear boundaries. There is time to explore designated areas, relax with friends, and enjoy activities, alongside set curfews and check-ins. This balance helps build trust, responsibility, and confidence.
What will a typical day look like?
Days include morning devotionals, Big Top worship and teaching sessions, small groups, workshops, free time, shared meals, and evening activities. There’s a healthy balance of structure and freedom, giving young people space to enjoy themselves while staying safe and supported.
What about food and accommodation?
Young people stay in tents with their groups and leaders. Meals are planned, catered, and prepared as a community, with youth taking part in age-appropriate responsibilities like washing up or helping serve food. Dietary requirements and allergies are catered for.
